Sweden!

on saturday we arrived in sweeden. we were earlier than her parents expected us, we arrived at like 12 thirty and werent expected until later. it was so nice when we got there, the sun was shining and the air smelled really good. it smelled like summer and salt and just plain nice. the house was big and yellow and it is so nice inside. the walls are mostly pine paneling, and the floors are all wooden. the dining room is two walls of regular walls and the rest are sliding glass doors which makes it so light inside and its really nice. you can hear everything that anyone does though becuase its very noisy. they have a grandfather clock there too, and it is different from the one in hamburg. ive gotten used to it already though. its weird because now the keyboards are like the ones at home and the y's are in the right spots and now i cant get used to the way it was. i keep messing it up when i type anything with a y. i didnt realize how much we use the letter y until you switch where it is. the sunshine here is very warm and hopefully ill get a nice tan to come home with. its supposed to be cloudy for the next 2 to 3 days but getting warmer each day, up to like 25 degrees celsius on wednesday. im so excited. it will be nice to have warm weather for a change here in europe. henrik is coming tomorrow, and we will be going waterskiing. it sounds like a lot of fun, but ive never done it before, and to be truthful, im kinda scared. vivien assures me it will be alot of fun. so i guess i will believe her and give it a go. she and i are sharing a bed, but its a king size, and we have alot of room each, so its not too bad. im going to try to come back to the internet later, but i cant promise anything. we had to make an appointment to come here to the library and get 2 computers. we got here in the little town at like 3 and we got a time slot at 5. so we shopped and walked and sat by the river for 2 hours. we met some guy who wanted to know if we knew where a party place was, and we found out that he was from hamburg too. it was kinda funny and ironic. well, i shoudl go so others can have a turn on the computer too. ciao!

  1. the fair is officially underway. the pigs went in easy...the steers not so much. first the weight. stephens is 1560, mel is 1515, and tess 1395. steve gave me a call and asked me to come up right away...he had gotten kicked, and knocked over, or knocked over then kicked, in the face, right eye. he went in for a cat scan last night. (he's ok) the steer got spooked while in the scale, and pushed through the front gate, while it was locked. it knocked steve down, and the rodeo began, with steve as the hapless clown. they got it tied up, and then mels jumped up and went over the side, yes over the side. almost knocking over the scale. tons-o-fun. just think what yours would have done. rain and mom are at the fair, i'm working on the cupboard doors for the cabin.be safe kiddo, glad to hear your having fun.
